TB3 would be fine there by at 40Gbps. Tbh standard USB 3.1 or 3.2 gen 1 would be fine too at 10gbps. Remember a sata SSD is only 6gbps

Thank you, I didn't realise how expensive TB3 SSDs are! All my other ports are 3.2 Gen 1 so will look at that if needed. Cheers.
