Hi,

Does Thunderbolt 4 port on a Laptop mean its a combined USB-C port too meaning I can simply charge my Samsung Galaxy phone that has usb-c by connecting it to the Thunderbolt 4 port via a usb-c cable?

Can a laptop with a Thunderbolt 4 port be charged by my Samsung galaxy phone charger meaning I don't need to carry the laptop's power brick/wire/plug with me and just use my phone charger to charge laptop?

Can a Thunderbolt 4 port on a laptop output 4k at 120Hz to a TV that has HDMI 2.1 port? Will the laptop be powerful to do this except gaming?

Cheers,

Haven bought the laptop yet, I'm interested in those Asus OLED laptops that have Thunderbolt 4 ports, just want to make sure before I buy you know what I mean because I don't like carrying laptop power bricks with me and if the laptop can be charged by a USB cable that would be great.

Yes, if the laptop has a Thunderbolt 4 port it can charge your USB-C smartphone.
Now, depending of several parameters the charging speed could vary...such as is the laptop is plugged or running on battery.
Also charging your phone when the laptop is running on battery will drain the laptop battery.

Do not confuse USB-C with Thunderbolt 4.
USB-C is the shape of the connection, and Thunderbolt 4 is a technology standard developed by Intel that uses the USB-C type of connection.
Thunderbolt 4 could deliver power, data, video and networking over a single connection.
You will find that USB3 and USB4 can also use the USB-C connection.

That will depend on the wattage the phone charger could deliver. If you happen to have a 45W Samsung charger you could charge a laptop that might required up to 65W of power...
If you happen to have a Samsung 20W charger, it won't charge a laptop...nor even a low-power Chromebook.
My XPS 15 uses a 130W USB-C charger, so most phone chargers won't provide enough power to charge the battery on such laptop.

Does the TV supports 120Hz over HDMI?

I suggest you provide the laptop and TV models to get specific answers...otherwise it will be a guessing game.
Some Asus OLED laptops have Thunderbolt4 and some others just USB3 and both use the same USB-C type of connection.
