So i hate my case and it doesn't fit the cooler i have in mind.

My question is does a (http://www.msy.com.au/home/12700-corsair-cc750d-obsidian-750d-black-full-tower-atx-case-without-psu.html) fit with a (http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/147-kraken-x61-liquid-cooler.html)

Anyone done this before in a build with the same case and cooler? Did it fit properly or was there trouble with it fitting?

Yes, it will fit as the top supports up to 360mm, and the x61 is a 280mm.
