Yes tigerdirect is a good website. Newegg, tigerdirect, outletpc and amazon are the preferred USA vendors. Monoprice.com is also very good vendor for cabling and audio/video needs.

in canada they are good too but I never use them as their prices are substantially higher than their competition almost all the time.
