Question tilde key does not work in fallout new vegas using fujitsu lifebook laptop

i have a fujitsu lifebook A553/H

i finally recovered my steam account and reinstalled fallout new vegas... but the tilde key doesnt work to activate cheats.. but no problem whatsoever using tilde in skyrim (same game developper)

yes ive tried a usb keyboard.. nothing.. shift and tilde... nothing but there is a tilde on the top RIGHT of the laptop keyboard.... but smacking it doesnt accomplish anything...

You might want to keep in mind that different regions might have one or more characters placed on other keys beyond the conventional places seen on a NA region keyboard. What region keyboard layout do you have on your Fujitsu laptop? A picture of your keyboard would help us two fold.

In device manager under keyboard it sais Japanese PS/2 keyboard (106/109 key Ctrl + eisuu)

should also add that the down arrow doesnt work in the grub menu... i have to use a secondary usb keyboard to drop down to windows boot manager

Perhaps the ability to use the tilde key in such manners has been blocked or disabled.

Developer(s) may or may not have yet fully implemented preventing the use of the tilde key for such purposes.

Assisting with bypassing or otherwise overcoming attempts to override developer actions runs afoul of Forum rules and policies.
