Question Tilted monitor from portrait to landscape and monitor went black for a moment

So after testing out my monitor portrait mode, I tilt it back to landscape, but when I do, I heard some fire(?) cracking sound( I'm not really sure what it is but it's pretty worrisome) and my monitor went black for a moment before booting up like usual.
Should I be worried?

Perhaps a loose cable. Hopefully, just the power cable plugged in the back and needs to be pushed in more. Otherwise it could be something loose inside. If it is a cracking sound. Like electrical arcing. That certainly isn't safe from a fire standpoint. You should determine the cause.
