Time and date changes randomly windows xp

the time seems to go back one hour every day . ?? why

your CMOS battery is dead, replace it and go into the control panel, time and date, set the correct time.
The CMOS battery is located on the motherboard.

Check that you are in the right time zone and also the day light saving option.
