Can somebody help me please.

I have a problem with the clock on Windows 7 not staying synchronized. When I turn off my computer the clock resets but the date does not. I have tried many methods but am totally confused om how to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

Can be a sign of a bad CMOS battery. You can confirm in the BIOS, should have an independent Date/Time to your Operating System.

If it is only happening in Windows make sure you have selected your appropriate timezone and, if daylight savings apply, to make sure that is selected.

If it is resetting to midnight or something every shutdown, you may have a corrupted OS or malware.
