I currently have a GTX 1060 6GB, im looking for a noticeable upgrade, like massive fps gains / improvements, the GPU will be used for gaming mostly.
GPU's im currently considering consist of:
GTX 1080ti - https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-GeForce-Black-GDDR5X-Graphics/dp/B071Y78QG7/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=gtx+1080ti&qid=1571630935&s=electronics&sr=1-2&th=1
RTX 2070 Super - https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-2070-S...070+Super&qid=1571630978&s=electronics&sr=1-5

Budget - £600

These are just the GPU's that i have been looking at, i am open to any other variations to these models such as other brands like gigabyte, asus, etc.

Specs:
Case - NZXT H500
CPU / Processor - I7 6700k
GPU - GTX 1060 6GB
Power supply - cm650x
motherboard - Asrock z270 taichi
CPU cooler - Hyper 212x evo
ram - 2x4 Corsair vengeance LPX 2400 - CMK8GX4M2A2400C14
1x8 Hyper fury - HX424C15FB2/8

I would not recommend gigabyte brand, a fair percentage of unfavorable feedbacks who uses GB have crashing issues. (Included me in the past)
Since i changed to AMD, I noticed better performance immediately. I consider going for RTX 2070 Super rather than GTX 1080ti is ideal.
It is much better and faster by 20% with a noticeable fps increase, only slight cons, the temperature is higher than 1080ti hence it requires a good CPU cooling system.

Now i know which GPU to get i still don't have an idea of what variant to purchase, i know that EVGA have released a new one FTW3 version but there are still many more to be mentioned, do you have any variants to recommend?

the difference is unnoticeable for some products really. However, I'd go for Asus strix or palit jetstream, they seem to have same stats, while msi gaming x trio has 1% less in fps gaming wise. I don't know about EVGA FTW3 that much but i know previous EVGA products along with gigabyte and zotac lack -5% fps than other products so ideally you'd go for the higher ones. after all it's your call and whatever floats your boat. :)

I have a Rog Strix RTX 2080 OC and it runs like a robbers dog...... remember by the RTX cards to change the power preformance from Optimal to Adaptive in the Nvidia control panel. The idle temp will be at 40-45c on Optimal and 30-32c in Adaptive with no fans. The Optimal preformance keeps it running permanently at the base clock or 1550mhz and 14000mhz in gpu memory for example on my card, in Adaptive the clock drops to 300mhz and the memory to 810mhz but when gaming or whatever it boosts up to 2045mhz clock as normal. Just way less heat in idle state.
