Ok so after having a Samsung 21' LCD TFT for like 7 years and very rarely upgrading my computer ( i5 haswell and GTX 660 atm ) I've decided that I want a new monitor.

Now I'm thinking about what to get. I watch a lot of TV shows but I also game a lot and gaming is and will always be my main hobby.

I would like to get a 120-144 TN Monitor and I dont have many choices here.

It's either :

BenQ Professional Gaming XL2411Z 24 inch 1ms GTG black

ASUS Gaming VG248QE 24 inch 1ms 3D black

AOC g2460Pqu 24 inch 1ms GTG black

What do you guys think? They are all basically the same price with the Asus one being the most expensive being 30$ more.

In terms of what games I play, I play stuff like CoD, Red Orchestra 2, Metro, Dota 2, WoW, Diablo 3, some Starcraft 2.

Would I need to buy these types of monitors if I played CS:GO proffesionally only? Would the other games I listed not see a benefit? Also in some games I might not get 100+ fps, would that cause tearing ?

Those monitors would be wasted on a 660 as it cannot hope to achieve high enough fps on metro for example.

You need serious gpu power before you even think of stepping up to those badboys.

Even for cs:go, you would need to overclock your cpu and get at least a gtx 770 before you could even properly use such monitors.

I dont think you are correct because I play CS:GO matchmaking with everything on ultra and I get more than 100fps constantly. And that's coming from a cs 1.5,1.6 player so I wouldnt care if I played on lower settings to achieve even more. So I dont know where you heard that you need an overclocked CPU and 770 for CS:GO, that's just crazy. Also how did you get your badges? You seem to be useless.

/sigh

All of those monitors are 144hz are they not?

A 660 is not enough.

Don't like the answer? Go buy one if you want.

Don't ever ask people for opinions if you are going to cry and ignore advice anyways...

Again, you said something incorrect and didnt even adress it. So you are basically ignoring your own faults in order to make yourself feel like someting special cause you have badges. Furthermore, you didnt even read the whole thing as you answered very quickly looking for some sucker to give you a quick best answer ( cause clearly by your writting this is the highlight of your day ).

Your response also has nothing to do with what I said, like literally word for word nothing. If I were you and I wouldnt know how to read properly I would get that fixed asap. If you do know how to read, then that means you have mental issues and you should get checked buddy boy.

Wake up call for maxalge. The world doesnt revolve around you. You can put some effort into your postings and not treat people like crap because you yourself feel like crap. If you dont feel like answering someone's question in a more elaborate manner, then don't.

Also again, GTX 660 does more than 100 fps with everything on MAX ( and I dont care about everything on max ) when it comes to CS:GO. So again, you have no clue what you are talking about. How on earth did you get those badges. I mean if someone like YOU has them..then I freaking need to be a master at everything.
