I have this PSU, bought in 2008/2009. The Coolermaster Extreme Power Plus 460W.

There was also a review on the old Jonnyguru and at HardOCP but those links are gone.

My Specs:

Ryzen5 2600 OC to 4.150
16 gb Corsair Vengeance 3466 16-16-16-38 (2x8)
ASRock Taichi X470
EVGA GTX 1060SC 6gb

2 x 1TB P1 Crucial NVME M2 SSD
1x 500gb 860 EVO SSD
2 x 2TB WD SATA HD 7200
1x 2TB External WD Elements
1x DVD/RW

1x AOC Q27G1WG4 144Hz 1440p VA
1x DELL SE2419H 60Hz 1080p IPS

Win7/Win10 dualboot

Outervision PSU calculator show this:
MSI Afterburner:

No complaints with current PSU. No coil whine. I blow it out every 3-6 months with compressed air.
Stays on 24/7 some days. Was migrated from old system.
Intel E8400, GA-P35DS3, 4gb RAM, 550Ti.

So to upgrade or not?
Nearly pulled the trigger on EVGA G5 750W but cancelled. Looking at the RMX 850W now as its just a bit more than the 650/750W RMX.

Hope the fine folks here at Toms can give some input.
Thank you.

Oh, definitely upgrade. You've definitely been rolling the dice with this one; it only has 312W of +12V power available! I think I would have replaced this in 2008.

You'd be perfectly fine with a 650 RMx.
Kind of what I was thinking. For my own peace of mind I went and bought the Corsair RMX850W.
Wanted the RMX650W, but the local retailer only had the RMx850W. Probably overkill but was also thinking of getting maybe a Radeon 5700XT or 2060S. To drive the 144Hz 1440p Q27G1.

Thanks for the replies.
