Hi,
I have downloaded the cpu-z, in the SPD tab, there is a timing table of my memory.

There are a few JEDEC #4 to #7 with different cas and frequencies. Which one should I refer and what is the purpose of the others?

Solution
n the top row of #7 you see the words xmp that the intel overclock profile. on your newer intel and amd mb turn on xmp profile to run ram at it max rated speed. the other lines are speeds and timing the ram can run at when the motherboard reads the spd info. the next stock speed is 1600 then 1333 and then 1066. if yu look down you see 1600 is 800 speed and 1066 is 533.

Solution
If a RAM DIMM is really running at 170MHz, then it can be run at 1866MHz, and deliver data ever 11 cycles. We call that a CAS latency of 11.

The same DIMM can be clocked at 1333MHz and CAS 8.
1333 / 170 = 7.84

The same DIMM can be clocked at other speeds, with other CAS latencies. This data is hard-coded in the DIMM in a table, which CPU-Z reads and displays.
