Tip of Unterminated Cat6 Got Wet

I have run of about 65' of cat6 indoor rated cable which is unterminated on both ends. I think one end of the cable was in contact with water for about 15 hours. It was touching a wet floor. Is the entire cable ruined?

In contact is much different than submerged or something. The inner wires are all coated in plastic so water will have no impact on them. The only worry is over a long period of time something in the water may damage the plastic. I would cut a few inches off the end and you are likely good since it is unlikely water managed to fill the cable for some long distance. I have run indoor cable outdoors for many years and so far have had no issues. Likely at some point I will get a failure but it is getting on 5 yrs for one of them and that one runs up a 30ft tower in both the sun and the rain.
