Yo!

Would be extremely happy for advice/feedback for this budget gaming PC. Will it bottleneck? Should I chose CPU with more cores or threads?

A Ryzen 1600AF/2600/3600 with a B450 motherboard and 3000mhz RAM would be a much better option. 4 core/thread CPU’s are bare minimum or not adequate for some games and the Intel i5’s are just not a good option in my view.

Thanks for your answer! Why do you prefer AMD over Intel i5?

Thanks for your answer! Why do you prefer AMD over Intel i5?
The i5 only has 6 threads and while it can achieve higher average fps in some games it can suffer worse lows which arguably impact gaming more. The i5’s are being pushed very hard already in some games due to only having 6 threads so there is no headroom for the future. We saw quad thread CPU’s age very badly over the last 2-3 years and I feel we are seeing 6 threads starting to show signs they will also age badly. Using my own experience of games COD MW will use 12 threads when available.

Looks good, just make sure the memory is 3000 or 3200mhz as memory speeds makes a huge difference with AMD Ryzen.

Any chance you have access to the 1600 AF (YD1600BBAFBOX)? It's a modified version of the original 1600 that performs close to the 2600 for significantly cheaper.

In the US it's $85 so if the pricing is close it should be 856.67 Kr.

This is as good as I could get it.

Memory is still a bit too slow, ideally you want 3000 or 3200.

The difference in FPS can be quite high between 2133 & 3200, almost 30 FPS in my testing but also with the faster speeds it helps decrease FPS dips not only by how far the dips are but also how frequent and the 3200 is very minimal in both aspects.
