So i'm planning on building a new gaming rig, and here are my components

CPU:
AMD FX-8350 Black edition (or) AMD FX-6300
MOBO:
Gigabyte 990fx-ud3 (or) Sabertooth 990fx R2.0
RAM:
Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB Dual channel DDr3 1866
GPU:
Gigabyte R9 270x 4GB Edition
PSU:
Corsair RM850

Through this build, i was just wondering if anything is overkill or if there is anything else i can substitute. I also was planning on adding SSDs, another GPU for Crossfire, and a h100i and was wondering if the PSU would be enough power to handle that.

Any suggestions, tips, advice, recommendations is highly appreciated! Thanks!

P.S. I already have 2 HDDs, thats why they weren't listed.

Either CPU will work well, though the 8350 might give you a little more power and speed for encoding video etc. It won't help much if at all in games. My wife's PC has the 6300 in it and I am truly impressed by the speed - and it is at a very good price point.
I have the Sabertooth 990fx; big reason was the 5 year warranty
You won't gain much in the way of speed with the 1866 RAM, none that you will notice. I would go with this and save a little money:

The RM850 received a very good review from JonnyGuru.com but even he implied there may be some problems, still, with capacitors. Save a couple dollars and go with this one:

XFX Core Edition PRO850W (P1-850S-NLB9) 850W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
$109.99
Save: $10.00 (8%)
$94.99 after $15.00 rebate card
$7.99 Shipping (restrictions apply
Not using Newegg? Should be able to find it elsewhere at a similar price.
This will have enough dependable power for two 270s in Crossfire when you upgrade.

What case?

For better cooling the recommended air cooler is the CM Hyper 212 EVO.
For closed loop liquid I suggest the H80i or h100i from Corsair.

Thanks for your input! I'll definitely look into those parts. As for my case, i already have a Corsair 300r. And i'm currently using the CM Hyper 212 EVO
