I recently moved my prebuilt Asus PC to a Corsair 450D and I was just wonder what I could do about my case fans and power supply fan.

First of all, my motherboard only has 2 chassis fan slots but the case has 3 fan slots, what should I do with the third case fan? I was thinking about buying a molex to 3 pin but I'm not sure on how quick the fan would spin. I also looked at 3 pin splitters which I'm not very keen about because I'm afraid it would overload the port.

Secondly, my thermaltake tr2-600w has a very loud fan and I was thinking about changing it out, what kind of fan should I get?
Thanks!

The power supply fan is controlled by the power supply so you don't have to worry about it. You can buy a fan controller and hook the fans up to it. If you hook a fan directly into a molex power, it would run at full speed.

Only fans with 4-pin (PWM fans) can be controlled by the motherboard. If you plug a 3-pin fan into a 4-pin motherboard header, it will still run at full speed. You can still plug them into a fan controller and control them that way.
