Tips for first build

Hi, i've been looking online for a bit and i put together this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hJnyQZ
I wanted to know if all components are compatible, if i should change something (except the monitor which i have already bought) and if i should get this or the riotoro cr500
Also, the ssd is enough for memory since i already have an external hdd
 
For the money, it's..... decent.

The Riotoro cases are pretty cheap and, while completely functional, would be a little out of place on a ~$1k build.
The CM gets you some tempered glass too.

You could drop to a mITX case too (moved the wifi to onboard, which is only available in mITX or full-ATX)

6c/6t CPU, 16GB RAM and a comparable GPU.

That would be how I would spend $1k (on the Intel side anyway).
