Tips for my new rig

I am planning on buying a new pc and I'm open to suggestions on what to change in my current plan. Please comment and suggest. I plan on playing games like The Witcher 3, Far Cry 4, Batman Arkham Knight, GTA 5, etc.

Estimated wattage is 474 that's why I went for the 600w psu, if I have the budget I'll go for a 750w psu. Thanks for the tip.

Corsair CX is not recommended for gaming rigs due to cheap capacitors. Get Seasonic / XFX / ANtec HCG / EVGA B2 / Corsair RM.

600W is more than enough for a single 290. Even a quality 550W would do.

Dude that is a good System right there... Just go with a bigger PSU, your brand is fine, it`s just the size that is lacking...

The CX is the system builders range from Corsair, very good power supplies and i've been using them for years trouble free. The reason i suggest a 750w PSU is because the R9 290 that you suggest has a recommended psu of 750w. Best regards!

Thanks for all the tips guys. I saw on some reviews that r9 290 requires a 750w psu, but i don't get why when it only uses about 250w.

The reason they recommend a certain power supply is so in the middle of gaming when the system is at maximum draw you don't get blank screens or system crashes due to insufficient power. Don't forget having a 750w psu doesn't mean your system will use that much, it just covers you and means that is the maximum. Best of luck!

I wanted to ask too if future AAA title games will use more cores, or should I just go for an i5?

Most games are only just starting to use more than two cores so a 4 core i5 is perfect!!!
