Hi, I'm trying to build a new computer for gaming. I don't really mind playing games on medium~high video settings and I'm on a budget so here goes the basic build:

Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM - Black (HX316C10FBK2/8)

ASUS Z97-A ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-A

ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC20C-4GD5 Graphics Cards STRIX-GTX970-DC20C-4GD5

Intel Core i5-4690K Processor 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54690K

Are these components compatible? I'll worry about the PSU, cooling, casing, etc., after I find out this combination works.

Do you have any recommendations for the remaining components?

This will be my first build so, yolo.

Thanks guys :D

UPDATE: I've already ordered the CPU, GPU, RAM, and Board. Any suggestions on Cases? I think cooler master is cool

Hey there, that is a nice built, you must get atleast 550W 80+Bronze certified PSU due to expansion reasons , its must be a branded one like Corsair , coolermaster (Corsair VS Series is my recommendation) . You could get a nice Mid tower cabinet from cooler master for just $25 i guess, for cooling you need to be more specefic, that if you're going to do overclock in future
