tips for pc newb about evga 750ti

hi, im fairly new to pc gaming and my friend suggested to get a cheapish pc then upgrade it, i bought a custom pc with an i3 540, integrated graphics, 3gb of ram, the intel dh55tc and a 500watt psu, it also came with a 240gb hdd with windows 7, do you guys have any suggestions for what i need to upgrade first, i want to be able to play stuff like fc3 and saints row the third along with lego worlds and marvel superheroes.

ah you got a pretty good deal then.

I would pick up a Xeon X3440 (about £30-40, but its a true quad core, essentially a rebranded i5 but they sell for peanuts on ebay) another 4gb ram and get the 750 ti and youll be good to go.

90 pounds is quite nice for that setup, and I'd go with what RobCrezz said- 750Ti would be a great companion for that system.
