Tips need to speed up my pc

Hellow experts. I m newbe and i m from cellphone field.
I am using system for mobile repairing.
Here is configuration

Assus M5a97 EVo R2.0
AMD 8350FX 8 core
4GB DDR3 Adata ram
500W psu
Windows XP SP3
Quick Heal Antivirus License copy

Now had two problem in this system

This system working very fine for one year, after a year system becme slow and hanging issue, it take about 5-7 minute to boot. When i format it and install new OS working fine for 2-3 days then same problem.

So plz guide is there any hardware related issue in this sytem. I m just tired of this system.

Other question is related to storage. How many TB HDD suported by this system??

No name, generic power supplies aren't recommended. See if you can borrow another. What voltage readings are you getting in BIOS for 3.3v, 5v, and 12v?

For large size hard drives I would recommend Asus Utility Download for the motherboard -
Disk Unlocker V2.1.3 for Windows XP/Vista/7/8 32bit & 64bit.

Long boots are a sign of a dying HDD. You should consider upgrading to the OS to windows 7 or better. If you need windows xp run it in a virtual machine. This will allow you to upgrade the components without worrying about losing everything.

I had PSU is of VIP gold which is good power supply. Another thing about OS is that i use this machine from last a year and its working fine. I had installed new HDD of 1TB WD blue, but same.
Earlier I installed 4TB HDD of siegate HDD i unlock rest of 2TB with disc management software provided by seagate but after 2-3 days again 2TB Drive became hidden

My mobile repairing tools support win XP so i had to go for it.

i use 7 usb ports of mother board in which i attached hardware boxes to repair mobile phones like ATF, UFS, Volcano Box, GPG Dragon etc. is 500 watt psu sufficient for M5A97 EVO R2.0 mother board??
