So i bought a GTX 980 a few days ago and i feel like i need better parts to match it.
My main thing to do is playing games, i mainly want to be able to play with higher FPS etc than i have now.

What i need.:
- CPU
- Motherboard
- Cabinet/Case

This is my current specs:
- CPU: i7 2600k OC'd
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4x4gb
- Motherboard: Asrock Fatal1ty P67
- GPU: MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G

If i have forgotten any information, just ask.

My budget is about 1000 usd, might stretch it a little bit but i prefer not to, i dont want to spend 500 bux on a case lol.

I don't see how upgrading your pc will get you higher fps, since your cpu is still excellent and will not cause any bottleneck at all on a GTX 980. You don't mention on which resolution you play at, and if you have a multi-monitor setup. If running a single monitor that is lower than a 4k display you should be able to max out about any game at higher fps than 60, after which there is no point in getting higher fps except for synthetic benchmarks.

The only reason you should upgrade is for the bragging rights.
Really, at this point, you can build a new PC with that budget, so if that`s what you want, we can help you. But this would be just throwing money out the window.

Everything I just said applies only if your PC is still performing properly.

i have 2 monitors and i mainly play on 2560x1440

Most if not all games should run excellent on your system at 1440p. Is there any specific game you are having trouble with? Before upgrading your cpu you would be better off adding another GTX 980 in SLI, but that would simply be overkill for 1440p.

Ok, was mostly thinking of battlefield ultra or more smooth on high, but that do require quite a bit.
