Hi, I'm one of the founders of a small video production company and I'm looking to speed up render and encoding times. Therefore I wanna build a new pretty high end PC for video editing using Adobe CC. I do alot of motion graphics work in After Effects plus the occasional VFX but also alot of basic editing in Premiere along with color correction in Speedgrade and so on. I've been doing some research and the build I've come up with is:

this and some 2-3tb storage for camera media and such.
Am I on the right track and what advice can you give me? I understand a quadro card would be good for some 3d stuff and reliability but I'm kind of going for the biggest bang/buck over super stability.

That's a pretty fantastic system.

There's one major flaw. There's no HDD for mass storage. Something you will absolutely need for those

space-craving video files. The SSD is also quite small. Windows alone will take up most of that SSD.

Especially when you have to keep 20% space clear on SSDs, ideally. To allow for garbage collection.

A 512GB SSD coupled with a 2TB WD Black for instance, would be more suitable. Then you can store Windows and

some of your programs on the SSD, making them very fast. Then use the 2TB for all your videos and images.

Have you taken into account which screens you will use? A good monitor with IPS would help you.

Thank you for the tip! I didn't realize I'd need even more SSD-storage for the CC-package and windows. I'll definitely look into soom other options!
And I wrote at the bottom that I'm going to add a 2-3TB storage device for mass storage. But I guess you just missed that 😉
