Ahhh, now my image of JayDub sitting on a eucalyptus stump in the back yard
overlooking his sprawling ranch, digger hat dashingly cocked, a koala
looking for his favorite tree that JayDub trashed for a better view from his
loo, a kookaburra on his shoulder softly warbling in his ear (or is it
warmly wetting down his back - never mind), watching a boomer bound off into
the setting sun, tossing another dead Barbed Wire into the ever growing pile
nearby............. all gone..........
Thanks DR B........

Like in Scarface!

"Say hello to my little friend!!"

Only with JayDub you don't quite know what he might mean by that. ;-)

Hi CRaSH,

You had it pretty right, mate, except for that bit after "Ahhh". :))

Having read your post, though, you've got me thinking about a lifestyle
change! :)

Sounds pretty good to me.

Hi Varmit,

Close, but no cigar, mate! :)

And, I'm not going to disclose my exact address here, in case Butts
flies over again, and flukes getting the navigation more accurate next time!

Hi butts,

The grass is being replaced with white quartz, the new barbie's been
broken in, I still whistle at the Willie Wagtails on the way in to the
Botanical Gardens each morning (as long as nobody's looking), (bit Picadilly
at present - we're only getting low 20*C, brass monkeys).

Had 2 bush turkeys and 1 Ibis pop over the fence into the backyard this
morning, before I trotted off on the CityCat to work for amnesty
International this morning.

No Kookaburras for a while now in the back yard, although I hear them
most mornings on my walking, and there's a pair I see fairly often in the
last tree before the bend to the Cafe.

Good, hey, strewth, what am I saying, BAD luck with your navigation!!

Hi Butts,

Yeah - I'm feeling like I've let CRaSH, and Australia, down! :)

Fair dinkum, his scenario sounded spot on - I've experienced various
parts of it, but not the whole deal rolled into one package.

We're very lucky here in Aus' with our space, climate, political system,
and population density - even though that last term has a completely
different meaning when applied to Kiwis!! :))

Hello JW
CRaSH has obviously done his homework but that stump collapsed, like the
house, with white termites, no one can sit still that long anywhere because
of those biting bull ants you'd need earmuffs if a Kookabura was stupid
enough to sit on your shoulder- like the rest of the country the birds are
raucous (including the women) YARRR!!! ...was that a crow or Betty next
door??
Cheers

Hi Butts,

Hey, you must have been to the same parts of Aus' that I have! :))

I have to come clean and admit there are parts of N.Z. I can't wait to
see - the Departure Ramp, for one!! :))

Even if Marcel switches to Plan B next year, I'm pretty tempted to come
over and have a squizz.

You're right, as always - Russell Crowe's acknowledged his roots are in
N.Z., hence all the problems......Q.E.D (Quad Errat Demonstrandum) :))

you're most welcome JW.. on arrival just deny your heritage; the rest is a

Hi Lindsay,

Several years ago I tried a boutique beer, brewed up the coast from
Brisbane at Eumundi.

It was called Snake Oil, and it certainly wasn't 2nd class!

More like 4th class - I still can't forget the taste!! :))

ahh the old Eumundi Markets.. great place.. bet they weren't licenced.
Don't need to be licenced over here to sell Aussie Beer.. it's designated a
softdrink.

It was probably made from Mexican irrigation hose snakes.

Hi Butts,

But you probably DO need a licence to be allowed to drink them, even if
you do classify them as softdrinks for Import Excise purposes!

Hi Varmit,

That's gotta rank right up there in the Classics, along with Lawn Dart's
Landing, you and Crash Parker getting your Callsigns, Alan White's
record-winning briefest reply ever, Quilljar's well-known insufferance of
any lowering of standards, the time Bill Leaming got a reply very slightly
wrong.........!!

I wonder where Arthur will choose to go for his next holidays? Can't
wait to hear all about it!! :))

Regards,
