I'm sure many of you are going to say this is stupid, but I'd actually like some honest opinions on this one. I currently own the EVGA Titan X Superclocked card, and recently saw that Gigabyte is releasing the Windforce 3x G1 version of the 980Ti. From what I've seen there is a barely visible difference in performance between the Titan X and 980Ti, except the 12gb vs 6gb vram (Which I understand 12gb is overkill). The EVGA cooler on my card isn't the best, and was just honestly curious if returning the card and going to the Windforce 980Ti is actually worth it? I mean I'd be saving $350 if I had just held off for the 980Ti in the first place. But is the Windforce cooler and the money difference worth it? Will over 6gb vram actually be useful for 4k in the future? Most people are saying the only benefit of the Titan X is bragging rights at this point.
