Titan Z SLI Power Draw

Hey i was thinking of getting 2x Titan Z's but no review is up about the Titan Z in SLI that shows off the power draw only gaming performance.

I know a single Titan Z draws up to 580watts when max load is on it but is it simple as adding up the watts together ? I've had 2x Graphics cards before and looked at a bunch of Graphic Card reviews especially Crossfire/SLI reviews and almost never the single card when times 2x with the watts a single max load is never really the answer aka the R9 295X2 is 610watts max load in reviews of the single card but when crossfired its just under 1200 watts which if it was added together it would be 1220watts max load which its not

so i cant add the numbers up due to it would be inaccurate i was hoping 2x Titan Z's would use a 1200watt power supple i guess the max out put being 1050watts just a guess but also the build will have a i7 4790K and will over clock it a little have 3x SSD's 3x HDD's 4x 8Gbs 1866 Sticks of ram LED lighting and a Blueray Disc Drive

so i am not sure if all that adds up more then 150watts or not i feel a 1500watt would be a over kill for the system and its air cooled not water cooled

Hmm now that I think about it, if a single Titan Z consumes 450W peak, that x2 is 900W, plus let's say 100W for an overclocked CPU is 1000 plus 20 for each HDD and 5 for each SSD, around 60 for the motherboard and 30 for the RAM is 1165W... And considering the efficiency of the PSU, 1200W might now cut it in a very stressful power hungry situation
Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:
•GeForce GTX Titan Z - On your average system the card requires you to have a 850 Watt power supply unit.
•GeForce GTX Tian Z 2-way SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 1200 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock your GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

But when you SLI / Crossfire the same power is not the same because they are connected to each other making one big GPU so they share the Power so they both don't give a peak of 550W or More each its little less or Not

but that's what i am asking i have no idea what the total is no review has done it yet well they have but not done a full on review on 2 SLI just game performance which apparently most people only see them as ...
 


Yeah, I know, I was just doing my math wrong, sorry. 1200W is all you need
 
I would of thought so but i didn't take into account of the power consumption of all the other parts would generate not sure a 1200 will do it maybe if i used a non overclock cpu and less SSD's and HDD's and no LED lightening and no liquid cooling aka Corsair H105 for the cpu and not a blue ray player

then i guess 1200 would do but i know 1500 would be overkill but not sure even the 1350 would be any good either

kinda sucks not knowing what all the parts will consume

 
But to a guess since a peak out put of a single Titan Z is 580watts 2x = 1160watts minus about 131 which should be about the total output of the two Titan Z

worked it out with looking at 760/770/780ti the difference between what their singles out peak and what they are when SLI with each other

like one would be a 360 2x that 720 then what it actually is when SLI like 605 then find between 720 and 605 this example would be -115

with the 760/770/780 i was seeing kinda around the area results the 760 SLI was - 111 from the single card 2x then the actual SLI

the 770 was -103 and the 780ti was -127 and so since the titan Z is just double a Titan Black and a Titan Black is based off the 780ti card it would be a little more being bit more powerful and even if i am wrong it would be a few ups or downs by no more then 8 up or down

so then that would bring the total Titan Z 2x consumption being 1029watts plus the 125watts on top for the cpu being 1154watts no idea of the other parts about their consumption but i do know too that a power supply it may say 1200watts but it can be stretched a little too so i think it might be close but

i think a 1350 would be better wouldn't it then completely maxing out the 1200 watt power supply especially if i am going to overclock the GPU's too which was not taken into account but i won't really touch the voltages but i might i really don't know maybe down the road
 


When does a single Titan Z consume 580W alone?
 


In the reviews for the Titan Z at peak consumption it uses 580watts

But that's the power consumption of the entire system, not just the GPU
