TKA and Master Brawler...

Read somewhere that some people recommend going for Master Brawler if they
are TKA to get some of the extra attacks and modifiers. I'm just wondering
if this is worth it at all since it precludes some other skills I plan on
grabbing. Thanks for any information, and opinions.

TK benefits less than most of the other brawler professions with Master
Brawler. TK already has a knock down, which is given to each brawling style
with "type" lunge2 at Master Brawler.

The main benefits for a TK is a bit extra defense and the much longer
intimidate. Berserk2 seemingly lasts forever which has it's merits and
flaws.

That's just from my perception.

The defenses make a huge difference. Warcry 2 is a big plus in pvp,
have kept people on thier backs for a very long time and was my
favorite way to take a CM out of the game, I mean out entirely.
Intimadate 2 is a big life saver the damage reduction, debuff and
length of effect are great. Those alone can make or break you in a pvp
fight, pve they are still ok but not worth it. But then what pve?

Increased range from lunge2 is the main reason. I think intimidate2 is
pretty useful for TK also.

Whether or not it is worth it to John depends on what his desired
template is, and which makes the most sense.

I took Master Brawler for Lunge 2. The extra range comes in very handy
versus the kiters. Great for pvp... if you strictly pve don't bother with
master brawler.

Intimidate2 is great as well.
