Solution
Not easy to find somethink based on the specs and price you are looking for understandable i had the same problem when i was looking for a monitor i eneded up geting a ROG 27 va panel 4ms payed 550 euros for it 1 year ago now it costs 400euros and if i ever need to service it i must send it to MSI lol
Maybe https://www.scan.co.uk/products/27-...-1ms-144hz-amd-freesync-100m1-250cd-m-hdmi-dp but its 144hz or maybe https://www.samsung.com/uk/monitors/monitor-c27rg50/
you canot go wrong with asus msi or samsung even a iiyama would be ok but at 1ms responce time plus ips panel its not easy .Also the iiyama are one of the best screens you can by my first screen was a iiyama 23 inch still...

what specs is your pc can it handle that kind of monitor ?
Would go for an ips or va panel if you spend alot of time playing games but this is a personal prefrence of mine.
Asuming your pc can handle the 165hz 1 ms i would go for one of the folowing :

1. MSI Optix G27C4 --- va panel
2.ASUS TUF GAMING VG27AQ ----- ips panel

Your budget?

If the avatar is you and your son then your older like myself. I know IPS panels are expensive but after having one for the last 6 months and I love it. Never going back to TN.
Thanks for your reply. I’m probably looking to spend around £400 maybe at a stretch £500

Owned an old IPS predator 1440p + 165hz .... never really noticed the difference between 144hz and 165hz - Personally think its a marketing tactic

Colour/vibrance is fantastic on IPS monitors but i believe also the MS are slightly higher, in the end I opted for a 32" VA panel 144hz and it's fantastic, close enough to the IPS i had
