Hey i wanted to know if getting a new graphics card would actually be worth it at this stage for my PC, i feel that my old CPU will hold back a newer graphics card.

Here's my pc info, also i have a Sapphire ati HD 5770 OC edition, 650 watt supply and the processor is an Intel core 2 Quad Q6600. If i missed anything important please tell me, thanks in advance! :)

I play loads of stuff but even if the fps are high their too inconsistent which makes for a bad experience. Some examples like Dayz mayby where i get a good 40 fps out of towns but when i'm in a town i drop to 14 sometimes, even below 10, and that is on low. I also play eve online, SWTOR, Aoc and Battlefield Bad company 2. On BFBC 2 i get mayby 25 fps and for shooters that is really irritating ^^' . All these games my fps stutters etc.. And i set my settings to low mostly

Also go for 8gb ram if your motherboard allows it.
