I am on a budget and am going to build a totally new system. I am going with the r5 1600 so i don't have to worry about the CPU for some time(of someone knows for how long pls tell me). The graphics crad: for a long time i was looking at the gtx 1050TI but the 1060's performance compared to the 1050TI's is quite large. But i am worried aboout the 3 gb of vram and think that the exrta money i am going to spend on the 6 gb version is not worth it. The diffrence in price is roughly 25 % where i live. And the 1060 3 gb cost 50 % more then the 1050 TI. What do you guys recommend. I am going to play at 1080p. And Want to be able to play at high settings. And am okay with Medium down the line. HOpe someone will give me advice:)

Those price ratios are pretty much in line with everywhere else in the world

& the difference in performance between those 3 cards is pretty much relative to those ratios

Buy what you can afford , the 6gb 1060 is obviously the most powerful card by a fair stretch.

The 1060 3gb was IMO created solely to fill the performance void between the 1050ti g 1060 6gb & create competition for amd's 470/570 cards.

Not a card I'd generally recommend but if its all you can afford it covers your demands of high settings now , medium down the line.

I think, right now with current prices, the 1050 Ti is the best price/performance deal. However, if you're the type who really likes having the highest possible framerate and are willing to pay extra for it, the 1060 3gb is the one to get. I think that the 1060 6gb is priced too high to be a good value at this time. Yes it's faster and yes it has more vram but in real world use I don't think the difference is worth the extra cost.

Yeah if you can wait until this so called "1070 ti" launches the 6GB 1060 price will almost certainly drop, making it a better deal. Because right now is the worst possible time to buy a new GPU due to bad pricing.

If you can find one in stock at launch*
