To upgrade (fix) or get a new system?
Hi,
I have a system built in 2012 which has just died. it only beeps once on booting, the memory has been swapped so it looks like the motherboard is the culprit. y dilemma is whether to try and upgrade what I currently have or buy a new system. I was looking to upgrade a few bits before it died anyway.
I have not built a system before and would need to replace the motherboard , processor , memory and graphics card (GTX 960) Any guidance on what to get would helpful.
the other side of the coin is anew system, I will be running visual studio on a very large app. and doing a bit of gaming on the side. budget £650?
my current cse is perfectly fine so I am begrudged to through away perfectly good parts...
any help on my dilemma would be great. I'm in the uk btw.
