[SOLVED] To upgrade memory or not?

Hi guys,

I have a PC with the following specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
Motherboard: MSI B150I Gaming Pro AC
Memory: 2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8 GB DDR4-2133

And a Mini-ITX case and PSU.

I used to have an MSI GTX 950 GPU, but eventually, I've upgraded to GeForce GTX 1060 6GB and now my CPU is throttling.

I've decided to upgrade and I consider to go with Ryzen 5 3600 + MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC combo.

The question: do I really NEED to upgrade my memory or I can live with old 2133MHz one (maybe overclock it)?
And if I do, what's a better option - buy cheaper 2400MHz (maybe some OEM Samsung sticks) and overclock or just go with some 3000-3400?

Ryzen "loves" fast RAM so faster is better, 3600MHz is ideal but 3200MHz with low latency could be just fine for most purposes.
