TO Upgrade or TO buy

Hi, I've been contemplating this for a while now.

Yes Indeed it is cheaper to build your own, but as you can see I am no tech savvy guy.

I am asking if I can upgrade a little to my current setup to play Guild wars 2 In High Settings.

This is my current specs:

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 925 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 4094MB RAM
Vid Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
Mobo: GA-M68MT-S2
And I have An Ordinary Hard drive (not SSD)

1.) Can I just upgrade piece by piece to improve performance OR
2.) Should I just buy a premade one with better specs?

I wish I can build one But i can't

Building a PC isn't hard, the only more demanding task is applying paste to the CPU, but if you watch some videos in YouTube I am sure you'll get it.
