To what extent and how should I overclock my Geforce 820m 2GB notebook gpu?

Notebook GPU's should not be overclocked. They have a hard enough time keeping cool without the overclock.

Even if you could OC it, it's too weak for any OC to really make a difference.

With a gaming paste and if you can control the fan of the laptop with a powerful external fan.

+162 in core +240 in mem clock and 1.100V can give you 5-15 fps boost. Thats the max we can get from the stock bios.

My temps rarely touch 80 with the stock thermal paste and with a gaming one its usually at 60-68C. In farcry 4 the temps with that oc is around 64C - 67C.
