Solution H H hotaru.hino May 10, 2022 Note that in BIOS the CPU is going to be at its base frequencies for sanity checking reasons (plus it's more code to do thermal management). So it's going to be warmer than if you were idling in the OS.

While they may not be truly at idle power saving features are not enabled so temps displayed while in BIOS are practically irrelevant. Upvote 0 Downvote
