Hey,

My 3.3V according to the bios and HWinfo is fluctuating between 3.244 and 3.260.

Is this normal? Had another RM850x lying around, swapped it to see if that made a difference, and the interval was now a bit tighter (3.248 to 3.260), but basicly the same.

Probably over-worrying here

How old are both PSU's?

I own a Lian-Li SP850, my 3.3v hovers between 3.332v and 3.344v. If you're not overclocking, leave it as is but keep an eye on any instability on your system.

Speaking of system's, please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Both PSU's are under a year old.

CPU: 9800X3D
CPU cooler: NH-D15 G2
Motherboard: Tomahawk X870 (latest BIOS)
Ram: 32 GB Kingston CL36
SSD/HDD: Lexar 4 Tb
GPU: Geforce RTX 5080 Asus Tuf
PSU: RM850x (both under a year old)
Chassis: Fractal Torrent
OS: Win11
Monitor: LG850

Nothing is wrong.
The 5% either way on 3.3V is 0.165 you are within that.

Also error in the voltage sensors themselves to account for.

I vaguely recall my RM850x also shows low on the 3.3 volt. Since there really isn't much loading it these days, it may run a little low at idle in a typical CPU/GPU/M.2 SSD build.

Switched the ATX cable and the PSU: same result.

It's not an indication that something's off or degrading with the PSU's? The fact that I get the same readout from two identical units points at a slightly inaccurate motherboard sensor, right?
