No, I do not "have to". If I were interested I would.

"Have to"s and "must have"s offend me. I make my own decisions about what to do/get.

I played a lot of violent games, and I never thought I would say this, but I must say that having slow-motion killcams of heads exploding is crossing the line for me.

I find it disturbing that some people seem to wallow in death. Where violence used to be a means to an end, now it has become the very purpose of playing the game. What is it these people feel when they watch people getting killed in gruesome ways? Is it something sexual for them?

And why is it always the "headshot" being focused on? Is it something about the Kennedy assassination that lingers in the collective subconscious of USA?

Your comment is so senseless. The phrases you got offended with are used just to implore the user to play them, they don't mean you are being commanded to do so. If you are offended so easily, then internet isn't for you at all.

Speaking as a gamer, a headshot is the most desired type of shot made in many first person shooters as it usually means a one-hit-kill. This saves ammunition, time and frequency of reloading to gain an advantage.

I'm sorry to hear that you have trouble separating entertainment media from reality.

X-Com demo was extremely disappointing. I've been looking forward to this game for a long time so that sucks.

5gb download gave two missions, one of which was completely scripted - you had to do what they told you to do. After, it told you what to choose for your character when they leveled.

The second mission gave you freedom to move around, but when you were done, you had no control over your characters leveling up, no build options in your base, no research, nothing. The demo ended and that was it. So basically, you got to see combat and nothing else, which is 1/4 the total game.
