Question Toms Hardware is eating my RAM and causing erratic reads and writes on my C drive

Even using my Smartphone, I've noticed heavy Ram and CPU usage when looking through reviews. Motherboards specifically. I was just reading through a review and my phone's CPU and ram usage was pegged at 100% causing my phone to overheat. So I jumped on my desktop and the same issues came up. Heavy ram usage and CPU usage. if you have 32GB's of ram, it will allocate it all, or however much is available. Has anyone else noticed this. Its very similar to Tweaktowns website. but' that site strait takes your CPU to 100% usage, like its using your PC to mine, while you surf the website.

I’ve never had this issue on phone or pc. Maybe you’re infected

Nuke and pave, reinstall...

then retest from a known,' no-malware installed' state...

(I'd concur with the above analysis of you're already being infected with something...)

I'm not seeing the heavy RAM usage. CPU-wise though, I can imagine the number of ads on THG review pages being an issue without an ad-blocker... the number of ads crammed in there seemed ridiculous the last time I've visited the site in its "intended" form.

I'd agree with InvalidError. More than likely, it's the amount of advertisements trying to load up that's causing the issue.
