Hello internet, I have a serious problem.

I don't remember my Tom's Hardware password. I wanted to change it to something I can REMEMBER, but no, they need my old password to change the new one. Is there a way around this? I needed my password reset TWO DAYS AGO and it took until an hour ago for the password reset email to come. I don't want that to happen every time I want to ask someone about something on here.

Is there anything I can do? Is there someone I can contact to help me with this issue?

Anyt info you can offer me is greatly appreciated.

Sure, glad to help! Just be a bit patient and I'm sure we can get everything worked out. :)

There's a known issue with the sluggish delivery of outbound emails right now. Normally they should be delivered within a few minutes, at which point you can reset your password to whatever you wish.

I moved this thread somewhere more appropriate and I will forward your issues to the higher ups. We have been hit with a huge amount of spam recently and the "fixes" implemented to stop said spam have had a few unintentional side effects one of them being email notifications running quite slowly. I think this is a temporary issue and it's one the developers are aware of. Being it is Friday night there may not be anyone actually working until Monday to help you though.

I am sending a PM to Kevin ( Titillating ) who is our ( the moderators ) link to the developers and the higher ups. He should be able to help you.

Here is a link to his account if you need to PM him.

Thank you very much, both of you(and Kevin too) I'm just glad these things don't time out after a while like most password reset systems. I just need to figure out how to change my password now.
