Hello, I recently purchased a TONY HAWK 3 game for my sons brand new game
cube from Ebay.
When we got the game we were saddened to discover that it will not work on
our game cube. I thought that the disc was surely damaged. So I sent the
seller an Email and he quickly sent me a replacement disc only to find that
this one will not work either.

Then we took both the games into the local video game store and when they
put them in their machines both the discs worked fine!!

These are not burned discs and they are in the proper format (NTSC or PAL
cant remember which is right for N.A)

Does anyone know why these wont work on our brand new cube but work fine on
another identical cube??

Thanks.
DB.

USA uses NTSC.

What does "does not work" mean? Do you get an error message? What
happens? Do any of your other games work?

I am guessing that you are getting a disc read error which means if you
have an old model GCN you will need to have it sent in for repair.
There appears to be a problem with the early generation GCNs and "disc
read" errors. I had to send mine in for repair because of this. I
could be wrong though, you didn't give much information describing your
problem.
