Hey all. I recently purchased a g3258,but whenever I use unreal engine 4 to create maps, the temperature reaches up to 97 degrees celcius quite often, according to Msi Afterburner(version 4.4.0 beta 12).My setup is as follows:

Pentinum g3258 at stock speed,no oc
Asus h81m-a
4 gb of ddr3 ram
Msi GeForce gt1030(fan model)
Diypc Gamemax-bk black case with 5 led fans. Theyre at high and cpu temperatures are still at 97 degrees celcius on high speed.
Intel stock cooler. I know this isn't the best but it should still be able to handle a regularly clocked g3258.

I also have a cheap psu with a fan as well. What can I do to reduce these temperatures?
I know I can purchase a hyper evo 212 for cheap and that its great but at the moment I'm saving up to replace a hard drive pcb that has all of my important data on it.

Solution
It sounds like your CPU cooler may not be properly seated and making poor contact with the CPU. Be sure the pushpins are down all the way.

Gotta say, that was a quick answer lol. Ill try that right now

Astonishingly, that was the problem. Now my temps are in the low 40s! Thanks mate, that was careless of me. Quick question, how do I overclock the g3258 in my bios? I see a way to change the voltage but I don't see anything to change the cpu speed
