Hello. 2-3 Months ago I bought a new Laptop.
Specs:
CPU: i5-7200U CPU @ 2.5Ghz
GPU: GeForce 940MX
RAM: 8.00 GB
OS: Windows 10 Home (x64)
In my opinion, it's very good Laptop. It works perfectly but whenever I play games LIke CSGO, Prototype 2, Battlefield 4 I have around 20- 30 fps and sometimes it even drops under 10 ( which is horrible).
So, Am I suppose to have a low FPS? If not, How am I supposed to fix it?
(I've all my drivers installed and updated)
Any useful Information would be appreciated.

Thank you for the reply.
Actually I can't buy a new PC now but is there a way to increase FPS in my laptop?
Because before I had a desktop PC with much worse gpu and CPU but CS GO would run with FPS of 80-90....
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry not much you can do. Intel U processors are actually running with very low power consumption, i think they belong to intels ultra low voltage processors. Playing online games is heavily depended on cpu power. Try reducing the resolution and graphics to make the games a bit more playable. Also disable anti-alasing and other extras.

Impressive. Then it's more than good.
Some thoughts: Some laptops decide themselves wich gpu to use for each application. Meaning it will either use your onboard integrated graphics (Intel HD 620) or your extra dedicated graphics geforce 940 MX. I suspect that your laptop turns to onboard graphics for some applications, therefore you may have to manually force your dedicated graphics to work with all applications. I am not an Nvidia user, but i am sure that you can adjust these setting with Nvidia experience or whatever they call it. Hopefully, some modification there will help solve your problem.

I don't really know because i usually play games from Razer Cortex. I have selected Nvidia graphic card as the default but don't know if Cortex uses that or not.
Btw FPS of CS GO increased i don't know how :)
Thank You!
