I saw the list of AMD cpu's for my new MOBO...about 15 shown. How does one pick one, who is not into games ever and video editing?I am losing patience in doing the research of something i do not know anything about. How does one know that a cpu or is it Apu has on board graphics? Also does everything come with the product..ie heatsink, fans? My MoBO is the Asus MSA99X-EVO Am3+

Solution
Then pick the FX 4100 or FX 4300, whichever is cheapest. You need to purchase a graphics card - the HD 6450 or GeForce 210 are cheap and will stream youtube videos at 1080p.

I thought I mentioned in my OP that i am not into games or video editing...LOL so what else is left? The typical boring surfing, emais, youtube and video clips wherever. I need to know ASAP

Your motherboard does not support on board graphics so you will need to purchase a video card and for your needs a HD 6450 or something similar would be great. You want to purchase an AM3 or AM3+ cpu and at least a dual core. It is easier to find a 41xx (4100 or 4150) series quad core online and they are usually the cheapest. It would be a good idea to purchase an aftermarket cooler just because they are usually quieter than the stock AMD cooler (heatsink & fan) that normally comes with the CPU.

This lists the CPU's that you can put on your motherboard (I noticed that the 4150 is not on it): https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A99X_EVO/#support

Budget for the processor? 100-125 dollars I couldn't absorb what Rehed21 was telling me...sorry not that tech literate...thanks...if he cares to lay it out in layman's terms i might understand

yep you dont need the top end cpu's if all your doing is basic stuff. in fact you might be happier with a £350 laptop. it will do everything you want it to and can even be hooked up to your tv to watch a movie if needed.
personally i wouldnt bother with an fx4100 or anything like it instead an amd apu(cpu and gfx all on 1 chip) A6 or A8 build would likely be just as useful, cost less to run and wont take up to much space because you dont need to mount them in a big box case.
