Hi everyone.

Noobie here. I am going to build a extreme x99 system with water cooling.

I got a super flower leadex 1200 platinum.

I have 24 fans. How do I connect that many fans? Do i need something like a hub?

2x480 rads, each 8 fans for push pull config. = 16 fans
7 front air flow fans
1 rear air flow fans
These are corsair sp and af fans. And all LED.

What i am not sure if i have enough plugs to run these? LEd and fans plugs are they separate?
Pls advise.

Thanks

OK I think i can use this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D2ZK2VW/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Each hub connects 10 fans.

Now can I ask any fan controller hardware recommendations that can control 24 fans?
I believe fan controllers can handle 3 pin fans right? corsair non-pwm fans are all 3 pin I guess.

1. Caselabs TH10a (purchased)- this is a monster of a case with wheels and expansions would be approx 85cm tall. 40cm wide, 70cm deep. if fill all holes, it can take 16 fans i suppose. due to push pull, i bring it up to 24.
2. Super flower 1200 platinum PSU (purchased)
3. Asus Ares 3 (single slot, comes with EK waterblock fty installed) - waiting for release and review which should be within next couple weeks.
4. Intel 5930K - waiting to purchase within next couple weeks
5. Asus x99 Deluxe Mobo
6. RipJaws DDR4 4x4G 3000hz
7. OCZ revo350 PCIE 480G SSD - in my shopping cart with the 24 fans as I write.
8. Water cooling with XSPC (purchased)- 270cm reservior, 1 D5 vario pump, 2 x 480 rads in push pull. Too many parts to list, but its close to contents in the RX V3 kit. I did not order the kit as I do not need the fans, want 1 more rad, and a larger reservoir to that in the kit.

any advise appreciated.

thanks

I cant do it on partpicker, tried already. Many items are not available on there. I recall my psu, water cooling, the ares3 which is not out, case even are not options there.

Why I am going 24 fans and how wasteful it is, is irrelevant here tbh.

I think I have found my answer after more research. Using the Nzxt grid 10 way splitter, it can be connected to a fan controller. I believe all 10 fans will be considered as 1, which is fine with me. So I can go with a Corsair link mini commander, and then control by software. The software looks great tbh and hardware comes with 3 temp sensors. will have to wait for it to be released.

Thanks anyway.
