Hello guys!
Yesterday I bought 16 gigs of memory from Team Group @3000 mhz. Went home, got into bios and activated XMP to boot them at 3000 mhz and it worked just fine.
Today though, I booted my PC, started playing some PC Building Simulator and experienced a couple of crashes, one ending in a BSOD and one ending in google chrome just not working at all (every plugin crashed everytime I wanted to open it). After checking Res Monitor I found out that the Hard Faults/Sec graph had some big spikes.. What should I do? What can be faulty?
PSU: Corsair RM550x
Mobo: ASUS TUF B450M GAMING PLUS(new)
CPU: Ryzen 2600 (new aswell, but not under warranty..)
RAM: TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB 16GB DDR4 3000MHz CL16 Dual Channel
GPU: GTX 1060 6Gb (new)
Storage: 2x 120 Kingston sata SSD + 1x old Seagate 500 Gb HDD.
Now, as I write this, the graph doesn't show any big spikes, just some minor bumps (maybe just 1 fault/sec) from time to time or just stays empty for minutes.
What could it be? I hope it's not the CPU as it's not under warranty..
I assumed at first that the game is faulty and just crashes my ram. I will take a memtest and update you soon.
