Too many of bsod, what do I do?

I'm fixing a friends laptop but it keeps crashing. I'm getting different types of bsod system thread exception, irql not less or equal, kernel security, kmode exception. Should I just reset it?

This from my experience might be caused because of a loose cable or it might be the ram. To be honest if its a cheap laptop i suggest getting a new one
