I'm about to put a new motherboard in my oldish system. I'm currently running Win7, but I put in a SSD which, dual boot, is running the Win10 preview. Have lots of memory and storage.
I assume that in a month or two I will move the Win7 stuff to Win 10. Currently, Win7 is 32-bit, but I want to move to 64-bit on both Win7 and 10 and keep both 7 and 10 on my system as dual boot. I'm worried that all this bit shuffling will bring the software down around my ears. I know I'll have to reinstall programs and drivers. Have any of you walked this tightrope? What should I watch out for?

Windows 10 and Windows 7 both use the NTFS file system, so you shouldn't have much in the way of a problem running a dual boot. Running 64-bit Win 7 shouldn't be a problem either, but would recommend making the changeover from 32 to 64 before plunging into Windows 10, just to be on the safe side.
