Too much cached memory

why so much cached memory? I have a total of 8153 mb of ram... and 5000 mb is cached. how do I fix this. I also have cpu issues. My system idle processes takes up 50% of my cpu. Any and all help is appreciated.

well..
Cached memory is the memory in use by windows to run your programs..

so, you can disable some start up programs and check in your "resource monitor" (built in windows), what program that consume your memory, then close it.

also check in processor tab in resource monitor, what application that use your cpu.
