too much memory leak windows 10

i recently upgraded my windows to win 10 it was going all right since today. my laptop was slowing down so i checked task manager. according to it the "system" was using about 1000MB of ram and my overall memory usage was 86% (of 8 GB) with nothing open. pls someone help

Its normal for win10 to use ram as temporary file cache in case you need to open files quickly again, it will pull them from ram instead of the much slower harddrives and ssd's.

no it isnt normal my friend also upgraded to win 10 but his "system" process remained at 40-50 MB only

I've not had memory problems myself. I have so far seen others complaining about mysteriously high memory usage though and in at least two cases, disk usage was also capped out at 90% or more.
I've not heard what causes that though but as far as poking into the darkness goes, any chance your disk usage was high also?

no my disk usage is pretty normal only ram is fked up

well its okay right now only thing that worked is resetting my lsptop
