Just starting my first build. No games except I just want to follow a on line stock market simulation, trying to get screen to fill as fast as I can, My question is there any problem with too much memory ? I have heard that this can slow a system down ? I'm going to run Windows 7 in 64 bite, starting with Kingston Hyper X T1 8 GB ( 2X4 GB ) at first then adding another 8 GB of the same next payday. Will this work and do I need it? MoBo is ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 with AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black edition. Monitor is Asus 2224 HD, Antec 650 Earthwatts. Do I NEED a separate graphics card or will the integrated video work. Do I need more memory ( total 16 GB ) or should I put the cash towards graphics ?

8GB will be more than enough for now and the future. 16GB is too much.

The integrated graphics will work for everything except games.

For what you are doing, any basic system with 4 GB of memory and onboard graphics would be more than plenty to do what you are talking about. Save your money on the PC and subscribe to the fastest internet connection you can afford.
